Cat Williford, is a pioneer in the field of Coaching and Coach Training. She is a Transformational Self-Development Coach, Speaker, Author. She received one of the first six certifications bestowed by the prestigious Coaches Training Institute. She has appeared as a guest expert on The Maury Povich Show, been featured in the Los Angeles Times, and coached live on L.A.’s ABC Talk Radio.

Cat has delivered executive coaching and training for clients like Walt Disney Feature Animation, Procter & Gamble, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Momentum Worldwide, Draft FCB, Cengage Learning, UNFPA and the UK’s British Telecom, Network Rail and The Forton Group.

She is known globally for working with executives and entrepreneurs in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and the U.S. Her coaching relationship with her clients offers a space to get current with themselves – their thoughts, emotions, dreams and goals. This clarity produces calm thinking, visionary planning, strategic action and unprecedented results.

Cat has trained and mentored over fourteen hundred coaches worldwide as a Supervisor and Program Leader for The Coaches Training Institute’s Certification Program and as a senior faculty member of The Forton Group’s Coaching For Leadership internal coach program.

Cat launched her Dynamic Speaking Skills™ program in response to executive clients requesting support in delivering key messages effectively. The program is constructed around the idea that powerful speakers inspire action with their words and inspiration comes from vision.

In 1998 Cat founded The Modern Goddess workshop series and retreats in response to her own need to connect spiritually with other women and celebrate feminine energy in a masculine-energy world. She defines the Modern Goddess as someone who balances creative resources and wisdom with the ability to make things happen in the material world.

A believer in advocacy and volunteerism, she is a charter member of the Women’s Roundtable of Los Angeles. As Vice President of the Los Angeles Women’s Legislative Coalition, she addressed the California Legislature and Los Angeles City Council on issues ranging from domestic violence prevention to safe drinking water standards. As Vice President of Women in Theatre, Cat was responsible for delivering an arts-based community outreach program for abused women and children, administering grant funding.

Cat holds the coaching profession’s highest accreditation of Master Certified Coach, as well as CTI’s Certified Professional Co-Active Coach designation. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Stephens College, and is initiated as a Master Reiki practitioner. She is certain there is no one-size-fits-all approach and blends a wide array of tools in her coaching and training work, including multiple coaching models, MBTI, Gallup’s Strengths Finder 2.0 and Positive Intelligence.
